On November 16, 2012, FFCCCII President Tan Ching together with Vice President/Adviser Domingo Yap, Vice President Alex Yap Choty, External Affairs Committee Chairman Victor Lim met with Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim to thank him for the arrest of suspect Nestor Felizalde Jr.
On November 12, 2012, around 2:30 to 3:15 am, victims Teresa Tan, 75 years of age, Evelyn Tan, 40 years of age, Executive officer of BDO and their maid were discovered lifeless at their house at 2012 Yakal St., Sta. Cruz, Manila. Undetermined amount of cash and valuables were reported missing.
The suspect , Nestor Delizalde Jr., a barangay tanod and an ex-convict who was involved in various crime was identified by witness Myrna Pandiam, the suspect’s neighbor. Through the efforts of police, the suspect was apprehended 17 hours after the incident. On their way to the suspect’s residence in an effort to recover the loot items on November 15, the suspect was shot by police when he tried to grab the gun of the policeman.
