The FFCCCII’s officers and members requested the Chief of Police of Malabon City to expedite the early apprehension of the suspects who were involved in the robbery/homicide

Upon the instruction of President Tan Ching, the Officers of External Affairs Committee Adviser and Vice President Domingo Yap, with Chairman Victor Lim and Vice Chairman Nelson Guevarra together with the Officers of Malabon Chinese Chambers of Commerce Past President Mr. Manny Chua and President Yang Hong Lu had a meeting with Chief of Police of Malabon City, Police Supt. Ferdinand Ampil on November 27, 2012 at 3:00 pm.

The FFCCCII’s officers and members requested the Chief of Police of Malabon City to expedite the early apprehension of the suspects who were involved in the robbery/homicide incident that resulted to the death of a Chinese couple in Tinajeros, Malabon. On November 24, around 7:00 am, the couple Mr. Mintin Ong and his wife Mrs. Quency Ong, owners of the White Horse Plastic Factory, were on board their vehicle in front of the factory along Dizon St. in Barangay Tenejeros when two still unidentified suspects suddenly fired at them and then fled off with the payroll money worth 100,000.00 pesos. The couple were rushed to the Manila Central University (MCU) hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Police Supt. Ampil told the FFCCCII’s officers that his men conducted follow up operations after the incident. Witnesses said the robbers may have an accomplice in the factory because they knew what time the victims would arrive. The police was able to get the footage of camera of other factory owners where the two suspects passed by when they fled towards Sitio Gulayan.
