2024 Chinese New Year Festivities in Binondo

Thrilling vibes at the heart of #Manila’s 430-year-old #Binondo district, the #Philippines, which is unique for being the world’s oldest #Chinatown!

The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (#FFCCCII), led by President Dr. Cecilio K. Pedro, played a pivotal role in the successful, fun and unforgettable 2024 Chinese New Year celebrations on February 9 to 10.

Distinguished guests, including His Excellency China Ambassador Huang Xilian, Manila Vice-Mayor Yul Servo, and Chinese Consul General Wang Yue, joined the colorful festivities, the night time fireworks extravaganza lighting up the city, the presence of many VIPs enhancing the charm of the auspicious “Year of the Dragon” parade.

Earlier, Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna Pangan also spearheaded the launch of the Chinese New Year celebrations by commemorating the 430th anniversary of the establishment of Binondo as an enclave for the Chinese community.

Kudos to FFCCCII officers and many other Filipino Chinese community leaders from various other organizations for making this event a vibrant convergence of business, civic, cultural, sports, and more!

Best wishes to all for Prosperity, Peace, and Good Health in this spirited Year of the #Dragon!
