FFCCCII Launches Pilot Computer Lab

The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) launched its Pilot Computer Laboratory project last April 2 in an effort to computerize public elementary schools in the Philippines. The Pilot Computer Laboratory consists of a tablet computer charging cabinet capable of charging and securing tablet computers, and twenty-five tablet computers complete with child-friendly cases and screen protectors. Spearheaded by the Science and Information Technology Committee and supported by President Cecilio Pedro, the project aims to expose elementary school students to technology at an early age and encourage them to develop information technology skills for better livelihood opportunities in the future.
