The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) led by its president Cecilio Pedro has presented a P5 million check to pole vaulter EJ Obiena for his gold-medal triumph in the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
According to Dr. Pedro, the financial reward serves as a gift as well as support for Obiena’s preparations for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
